Bleeding but ok.
I just wanted to share my story in case anyone else experiences the same. It may help to relieve some fears. From 5 to 6.5 weeks I had tiny amounts of brown spotting. I just monitored this at home. Ultrasound at 7+3 and all was OK. The ultrasound technician thought she could see a tiny haematoma that she couldn't even measure and said that may have been responsible. I was 8 weeks on Friday and had fresh blood when I wiped, bit concerning but I wasn't panicking. I got in the shower and lost 3 clots the largest being about 10c coin (for the Aussies playing along). I took myself off to ED as my Drs had no appointments on the weekend. I had stopped bleeding straight after the shower. I got my anti D injection and saw baby on the ultrasound but only the Dr was available, no tech and he said it's not his area of expertise and he couldn't confirm a heartbeat.
No more bleeding for 22 hours then I felt a steady stream in my period undies. We had visitors so I quickly put an overnight pad on. While saying goodbye to them (Max 5 mins) I had bled through the pad. I went to the toilet and lost a lot of blood and clots. Obviously at this point I am assuming it's a MC. The bleeding once again stops.
22 hours later I go to the toilet and pass a huge clot. No more bleeding.
I still have nausea but it had gone from all day to only the arvo and breast tenderness had gone. I got in to a Dr this morning for an ultrasound referral and my husband and I nearly fell off the bed when we saw a 8+5 week baby with a heartbeat of 167. I get the full report tomorrow but it appears to be a subchorionic haemorrhage. You could see the black area on the ultrasound.
Dr google tells me this is usually OK so I am cautiously optimistic. But it has just been such a wild ride these last 3 days.
