38 weeks… mucus plug tinged with some blood

So today I am 38+1 and yesterday I got jelly like discharge with a small tinge of blood… today when I wiped I got quite a big clump tinged with a bit more blood. Is it possible I could go into labor sooner rather than later, or should I be ready just in case? Ive been fully expecting to go to at least close to 40 weeks even though I know it’s technically possible at any time. Last week at the doctors I was only 1cm dilated.
