Induced- experiences?

Anyone been induced with gel? 
Can you share your experiences Please? 
Currently in the hospital (38w) with now pre eclampsia (suddenly) and they plan to start induction this morning. And I have no idea what to expect.

I was induced right on my due date with my first pregnancy (no issues doc just felt like it was time) . It went smoothly. They gave me the drugs, gave me epidural (god bless epidurals), broke my water, then eventually I dilated to a 10 after a good amount of hours, pushed for like 15 mins or so and then baby boy was born.

Yes/ I was in exactly the same boat. It all happened really quickly for me once I had the gel inserted. Waters broke within a couple of hours, then into INTENSE contractions and son was born within 8 hours of the whole process being started
