5 weeks 6 days - Miscarriage?

I was 5 weeks on Sat 10/8 and had some light pink spotting when I wiped. On Sun. 10/9 it was dark brown when wiping. On Mon. 10/10 it was bright red and dripping - enough to need a pad, and there were some clots. The bleeding only lasted an hour or so. Then was dark brown discharge. On Tues. 10/11 I had my HCG levels tested and they were 11,984. I had some more bleeding (red and dripping, with clots) on Tuesday night, along with some cramping. I had my HCG tested again today (Thur. 10/13) 48 hours later, and my numbers increased to 17,959 (a 33% increase). What could this mean? I’m waiting to hear back from my doctor - but just thought I’d see what everyone here has to say, in the meantime. Thank you! This is my 1st pregnancy!
