My son is 5.5 months old. The last month or so, he’s loved having some independent time to play on the floor and practice his rolling over skills and whatnot. However, the last few days, he won’t let me put him down for more than 5 minutes at a time. Wake windows are getting longer and longer, and he’s getting heavier. I’m struggling to figure out how to keep him entertained for 2.5+ hours. He isn’t sick, and not teething from what I can tell. Any advice? Did your kids go through something similar around 6 months old? If so, when did they go back to enjoying independent play?
