Possible period

My husband and I have been TTC for a couple months now and my period started yesterday. Or so I thought it was going to. I have some pinkish blood like spotting yesterday. And I went on as if my period was going to just full on start. But anytime I go to the bathroom and wipe there’s nothing. I don’t even need to wear anything maybe a panty liner. Could this be implantation bleeding? My period had never done this before
