EIF in heart but DS testing neg?
Just got back from my 20 week ultrasound. We found out we are having a little boy but also found an EIF (Echogemic Intracardiac Focus) on his heart, which can be a soft marker for Down Syndrome.
We did testing and an ultrasound first trimester to check and both were negative.
My doctor says it’s all going to be fine but is going to be sending us for additional tests for our piece of mind.
I’m shaken to say the least. Anyone else?
