Contractions? Baby movement?

38+3 and this is my third you'd think I'd know this.... not sure if I'm having contractions or what. Those that had their babies while you were on early contractions did you feel your baby move as well? If they indeed are can you feel them move or hiccups in between contractions? Gaaahh. Not sure what to do. My parents have lovingly said theyd come in the middle of the night to stay over with my other 2 kiddos but they're 30 minutes away so im.not sure if I should make the call or not.....
