Teething 3 month old??

First time mom here - does this look like my LO is teething? He’s been fussier than usual, occasionally has a low grade fever, drooling and chewing on his fists like crazy. I know it’s a bit early, but thought I’d check in with these photos so more experienced moms can help out ☺️ thanks!

Drooling and chewing on his hands is normal for his age. He definitely could be starting the teething process though. Both my boys had their first tooth at 4 months. It looks like his gums are swollen to me.

my baby started doing this around 3-4 months and didn’t pop out a tooth until 7m

Maybe but my son did this too that young and didn't get his first tooth until 10 months old. Chewing on hands isn't necessarily a sign of teething either. It's a soothing mechanism for them with really anything. Fever, there is alot of different information out there too on whether or not teething causes a fever. It hasn't been proven medically but alot of people say it has. Baby could just be tired and fussy, be prepared though... this teething behavior could last a longgggggg time with no teeth. Then teething really hits and it's pretty apparent they are teething.
