My daughter will be two next month. She lately has been really fighting bed time and trying to get up at 4 am vs her normal 6:30. Last night, for the first time ever, she got out of her crib on her own. We put her back and she eventually went to bed. I even had her at the doctor yesterday because I was worried it was due to an ear infection but apparently she’s just getting her molars. This morning, my husband came downstairs and showered. He went to the feed cat and heard footsteps and a little voice say “Kitty!”. Apparently, our daughter got up, didn’t fuss at all, got out of her crib, opened her door, and at some point came down to the living room! We’ll be converting her crib to the toddler bed obviously and getting something on the door knob so she can’t just have free run of the house at night but…this girl is super pleased with herself right now 😒
