Bfp at 13dpo! My symptoms

Hey everyone. I tested positive last week and confirmed at my OB today that I’m pregnant with no. 2! This is our 3rd month trying (waited until my daughter was 2.5 to start ttc) and it didn’t happen as quickly as I’d expected, so I thought I’d share what was different this month. What’s interesting about this cycle is that my husband and I only had sex 5 times, which is less sex than we’d ever had in our entire marriage. I also took a pregnancy test every day from (what we think was) 5dpo onward and didn’t test positive until 13dpo.

Conception:

- Sex -6 days, -3 days, -1 day, +2 days and +11 days in respects to our expected ovulation date

- never confirmed ovulation, just used app/educated guess based on prior months

- Husband didn’t wear loose boxers or avoid putting his laptop on his lap. I also just didn’t bug him about ttc stuff at all; instead just used natural tactics to seduce him. Never mentioned ovulation day either bc he’s gotten performance anxiety before from me asking.

Symptoms:

1 dpo-5dpo- mild cramping and slight acne

6 dpo- pinching in uterus area (came in wave-like pattern, similar pattern to labor contractions if that makes sense, but instead a very mild pinch)

7 dpo- body aches, burning/sharp pain in right breast only. Gagging in pm

8 dpo- gagging in am and again in early pm. Right breast extremely sore. Left side of uterus has wave-like pinching again

9 dpo- full on flulike symptoms

10 dpo- very very very very light positive-ish on first response test, still severely flu’d up with immense sinus pressure, plus heartburn severe at night

11 dpo- still battling this severe head cold. Bfp at 7 am with first urine of the day.

How I conceived:

This was my first month taking the following every day in the am:

- Olly prenatal vitamins

- Olly energy boost vitamins (CoQ10, Gabatrol)

- Vitamin D capsule

- Maca supplement

- ashwagandha (sp?) supplement

- cbd gummies (no thc)

Also, here are some other things I changed this month:

- drank 0 alcoholic beverages since cd1

- used no opks or temping stuff

- drank at least 6 glasses of pure water daily

- ate at least 10 Brazil nuts daily

- ate 1-3 pieces of pineapple core (1” thick slice of whole pineapple cross section) daily starting at 6 dpo

- ate no (and I mean absolutely 0) processed or non-organic foods

- ate wild, never frozen salmon twice weekly since cd1

- purchased a juicer on cd3 and drank at least 2 glasses of homemade pure juice from beets, purple&orange carrots, purple sweet potatoes, guavas, papayas, pineapples, grapefruits, mangoes, kale, celery and cucumbers

- took a long (.5 mi or longer) brisk walk w/ jogging stroller at least once daily

I’ll also add that I really didn’t feel pregnant. I think my main symptom was getting a massive head cold out of NOWHERE but it felt TOTALLY different from my first early pregnancy symptoms.
