Can genital herpes only cause one sore ?

Question

Hi. I am married & have not had sex with anyone but him for 4 years. 
I scratched the inside of my lip on accident and it didn’t look like I cut it or hurt it at all. 
The next morning I wake up to one white  sore in that spot. 
It has been a day and it itches and burns sooo bad. Now I got scared because I looked it up and genital herpes came up - can it only cause one sore ?
EDIT It’s inside my vagina lip by clitoris area I’m sorry I meant to write that!

Probably just a clogged pore, ingrown hair type deal then ends up like a zit.

Sounds like you probably already had an infected hair follicle and caused it to be irritated. I highly doubt that is genital herpes but to be on the safe side contact your OB to get it checked out and maybe use some vagisil wash and powder to keep the area clean and try avoiding moist. Also when you shower make sure to gently pat dry the area. Wear loose cotton underwear too. Goodluck
