How long did your first postpartum period last?

Currently 6 weeks postpartum & after not bleeding for a week I started bleeding a couple days ago a lot of brown & now it’s dark red. How long should I expect this to last?

My periods postpartum were the same as they were pre pregnancy. So around 5 days of medium flow. But I know everyone has a different experience.

I had my first postpartum period at 6 weeks pp and it lasted two weeks. I remember it being very heavy the first couple pp periods.

With my first I had heavy bleeding for about 2 weeks then on and off spotting/brown blood for another 2 weeks after that. My second heavy bleeding stopped after a week and then I had similar spotting a week afterwards.
