When do the viruses STOP?

My son started PreK in September and I swear he has been sick nonstop ever since. He will be better for a week or so and then he will catch something else. He just finished a 10 day regimen of antibiotics for an ear infection caused by a virus and now he’s stuffy with a runny nose again. I swear it feels never ending.

With school they never seem to, kids are germ sharing little lovers. Im sorry he sick. Hope feels better soon. Also maybe start him on vitamin gummies to help immune system, offer oranges snd orange juice too

My son just stared PreK in mid September. He’s been sick twice. Nothing too bad. First one went quickly. Second one, started with a spike in temp that quickly broke and a lingering cough and runny nose ever since. We use Better Family organic liquid vitamin drops. Drink lots of water and alittle orange juice. Eat lots of fruits and veggies and everytime a cold is coming on, we have alot of chicken noodle soup. It seems, we remind him to stop touching his face a trillion times a day. He washes his hands a lot and knows about germs. We just keep reiterating the good habits and hope we come through this period not too scathed.

If this is his first year in a school or daycare setting, it’ll probably be a couple years. My daughter had a constantly runny nose from age 18 months to 4 years (except when we were home for lockdown).

They don't. The only time we had a good stretch without illness was when masks were mandatory in school.

My eldest just started kindergarten. And my middle one just started preschool. My preschooler is autistic and in a SPED class. Almost no chance any of those children (mine included) are covering coughs and sneezes. 
We have been sick nonstop since mid August. Ironically, all of the illnesses we've got have come from my germaphobe, frequent hand-washing 5 y/o and not my 4 y/o. 
My 5 y/o, 4 y/o, and 2 y/o have each had two colds and two stomach viruses. 4 y/o has gotten an ear infection from a cold & 5 y/o has gotten one double ear infection and one single ear infection.
Schools don't really allow you to keep your sick kids home so viruses just keep circulating. For both of mine, they can only miss 3 days excused & 2 days unexcused unless it's literally Covid. So everyone has to send their sick kids to school. 
I'm 28 weeks pregnant and hoping everyone's immune systems adjust soon. I'm terrified of having a newborn in a house of constant illness!

They'll get sick less as time goes on but it's never gonna stop til they're way older
