My son is being baptized soon. My sister who will be godmother asked me if she should wear white to match the baby. I told her no, pastels and soft colors are fine but white for baby only. She said she thought it was a thing to match the baby. Not sure where she got this idea as we’ve been to baptisms and baby always stands out in white. But now online I read some wear white like the baby?… All the baptisms I’ve been to the only one in white is baby being baptized. Godparents and parents I’ve seen wear colors not white. Is it wrong I told her probably not to wear white so baby stands out in his white baptism garments? I feel bad now.
