Has anyone experienced heavy bleeding from an ovarian cysts in-between menstrual cycles?

Long story short: I have PCOS and experienced many cysts in the past. I normally get cysts during my periods though.

I had my menstrual cycle from October 1st-6th. On October 13th I went to the ER after experiencing severe pain in my back and right side and they confirmed I have a 2cm cyst on my right ovary.

Yesterday morning I woke up to heavy, bright red bleeding. I bled all day, was up multiple times last night and now this morning with clots and a heavy flow.

My cycles are normally 35-60 days, so I’m pretty darn sure this is a result of the cyst. I’ve had spotting in between periods but nothing like this. I’m planning on doing a teledoc later because I have no idea what to do or expect.

If anyone has gone through something similar, how long did you bleed for?
