When is CD1?

Does the start of bleeding from a miscarriage count as Day 1 of your period? I've had no advice what to expect regarding cycle coming back. I had an early miscarriage last month and shouldve been due on 4days ago if that's the case 🤔🤔🤔

Technically no... I had a miscarriage late august and fell pregnant a few weeks after that. I was told by the midwife that the miscarriage bleeding technically doesn't count. I track ovulation though, so have dated my pregnancy on that rather than bleeding for a more accurate dates. They'll be confirmed during my 12 week dating scan too, so I'm not worried.

Unfortunately this is why most doctors recommend waiting a cycle (until your first period comes back) to try again because your cycle is a little messed up after a miscarriage. I know with mine, my ovulation was not when it usually was until after my first periods after.
