Please help me, my family & I are getting bit up!

For a couple of weeks me and my kids have been getting bit numerous times.

The bites itch and new bites happens for a few days then no bites at all for a week.

We first thought it was bed bugs.. searched the floor frames, searched the wall frames, searched our mattresses for evidence…nothing.

This is the 2nd time I’ve seen this bug crawling on my phone. He is almost microscopic if I didn’t see him on my phone screen moving. You can barely see the it on my skin(circled in image)

We have a dog. We also have a bad mice problem..they get in through the basement (we are moving soon)!!

Also my dog has been itchy as well, we thought it could be fleas but we don’t think it is because we had flea problems couple years back and we could feel them and see them on us and the dog.

Any help as to what the heck this bug is and help me get rid of them!! 😔😔
