This is my first pregnancy and we’ve shared our news with close family (both sets of parents, my favorite uncle and very, very close friends). My dad went to a family party today (I’m just over 11 weeks) and shared with my gram (who I do not have a relationship with besides saying hi to at Christmas) and my aunt and uncle who are not my favorite people. People my mom knows (and my dad should know) that I’m NOT ready to share the news with. So now it’s out and I’m betting everyone at the party found out. I’m so upset.

I know he didn’t mean anything mean by it, I know he shared because he’s excited- but I can’t help but be upset. My mom was upset with him for sharing and I had to chill a little because she was going to rip him a new one for sharing our news. So I had to make it alright that he shared the news.

But now I need to know, would you be upset? I’m upset and feel like I shouldn’t be, it’s not THAT big of a deal…. We told people so the news was going to spread. But I’m still upset. 😭
