So I just left the doctors office and I a, so confused. So I have symptoms of pcos. I have the acne facial hair symptoms… and I have a very high AMH of 42! I have a son who’s 4 years old and have had 2 miscarriages back to back. I went to the doctor to see is there’s anything wrong. My blood work came back all good the tester one, androgens or whatever,, insulin all was good levels. Doctor prescribed gonal f to try conceive with multiple follicles and hopefully the healthy one will stick. I had gonal f 25 only and trigger shot. At my 13 week follicle scan.. I had like 30 follicles on my right ovary all Immature. And 1 good size on my left. I had bad symptoms. I was veryyyy crampy and couldn’t sleep at all. Anyway I didn’t get pregnant. So I don’t understand.. do I need the gonal f to ovulate.. I ovulate on my own I think? Iv been ttc for 4 months now after the miscarriage. And when I did internal ultrasound before the gonal f my ovaries were clear no follicles or anything. Did the gonal f overstimulate my ovaries? Also what happens to those 30 follicles if I’m on my period now? Can I ovulate next week again? Are those follicles still there? What are the chances that they will mature? I’m sooo confused. And every time I see the fertility specialist I get charged $300.. really don’t wanna go if I don’t need too.
