I was on meds for 5 days for a UTI, and it has been 2 days since I finished the meds. I’m still frequently urinating (about every hour) and I “feel” my vulva/ urethra, like I’m more aware that it’s there, if that makes sense. Sometimes I feel it’s a bit raw or irritated. The slight burning/ discomfort while peeing is gone, though, and I definitely feel better overall (was feeling hot like my body was fighting an infection before I took the meds). I’m waiting to hear from my doctor regarding my STD and urine culture test results, but I have not had a call from her yet (she told me she will not call if nothing was found, tomorrow will be a week since I had the tests). Still a bit anxious, so I’m not sure if all the leftover symptoms I’m feeling is also from being tense.
