7 month old waking every two hours

my 7 m old has been waking every two hours for the past few nights. he just broke two teeth through so I figured he’d wake up more than normal, but he isn’t acting like they’re hurting him and he wakes up for a bottle, won’t go back to sleep without eating. I think this is due to him not eating during the day, he’ll so 5-6 hours or more sometimes without eating, i’ll try to get him to eat, could the reason he’s waking more be due to him not getting enough nutrients during the day?? we’ve started solids too but only give him solids once a day right now
