He was 7 years older than me. I never had a kit done - not even domestic violence charges went through even though it’s all on file with police. We’re safe from him because he thinks I miscarried, (I was only diagnosed with threatened miscarriage, ie high risk.) but he’s crazy enough to try to find us and take the baby come my due date. I don’t know what to do. Adoption isn’t an option because the father has to be notified and he’ll insist on taking him - which means baby will end up in the system because the father is on drugs / illegal substances and that just the tip of the iceberg. I couldn’t bring myself to abort and it’s illegal where I live anyway. I have no job right now - I tried but I’m a full time college student, I can’t juggle both. I have no family support either. I have to move states to change my name and have the record sealed before the baby gets here or else we’ll never be safe from him. To make matters worse, it’s a boy and I’m terrified he’s going to look like his father… I’m sorry it’s so long, I just needed to rant.
