Insecure AF

I recently gave birth probably about a week ago and baby girl gave me a 3rd degree tear 🫤 Anywho my bf has been commenting on my smell lately down there and telling me to take a bath and soak but i tell him over and over i can’t only showers and then I just told him I don’t know what to do because i’m scared to really go down there and clean so I use my peri bottle over and over to spray it the best i can and go over it a bit with a wipe. He said he had to talk to me last night so I asked him what was wrong and he told me he wants to help me clean down there and I told him ok but then we get back in the house and I came out the bathroom & he said “ew” & i just need tips on how you cleaned down there with a 3rd degree because honestly it’s making me so insecure and frustrated to the point i’ll cry because i want to fix it so bad but i don’t know how. Please help me 🙁
