Has anyone tested positive for Toxoplasmosis? I have 😢

Hi all,
Has anyone tested for toxoplasmosis? I have tested positive. They will be sending my tests for further examination to understand when I got it.
Has anyone been in this situation? 
Any advice would be incredibly helpful.

Is it an active infection (igM) or an old one (igG)? That makes all the difference. Most people I know that have cats or grew up with animals have a positive igG. This is not a problem as you have antibodies and won’t get sick anymore. The risk of complications is if you have positive igM and negative igG, meaning a recent infection you do not have antibodies for. This could infect an unborn baby.
