Scared of no one showing up

How would you feel if no one you invited to your 4 year olds birthday party showed up?

My sons party is tomorrow. I know for sure it will be me, my mom, and my stepdad. But when I asked him if he’s excited for his birthday and what he’s most excited for, he says “friends”

Now I’m worried. We invited some family and some said they were coming but then today said they were taking their kid to a monster truck thing. Another said she’d have to talk to her bf. But I haven’t heard anything from her and I made sure I went to her daughters birthday party and my son loves playing with her. Also not sure if his other cousins are coming. I know he will be heartbroken if no kids show up. 💔 I told them all they didn’t have to bring a gift. And they really don’t. Just showing up is a gift in itself for my son. 😢
