Long legs doesn't mean tall. I have long legs. I'm 5'3 lol. My kids have short legs and a longer torso like their dad. Their dad is average height for a man (5'10).

My spouse has long femurs but he’s only 5’10/11 but he doesn’t look tall per say our LO has long femurs but only measuring a few weeks ahead but doesn’t necessarily mean he’s gonna be tall his legs just look a little long lol,

It’s more so a genetic thing… If tall people run in his or your family the baby could be tall even if y’all two are short!! Or your baby could just have long legs doesn’t mean he or she will be tall.

Unless they brought it up as a medical concern.. it's just one of those things they say to make you & baby feel special. I definitely got a few of those "Ohhh, look at those long little legs" but my kids are in the 1st, 30th, & 6th percentile for height. They said that about my first and he was extremely short, like nurses said he was the shortest full term baby (he was 17.5 inches & born at 39+0) they'd seen delivered. They all got the big foot/feet comment too but my middle one has tiny feet and always has lol
