Lord, this crap is scary!!! I’ve experienced heart palpitations since probably the beginning/middle of my second trimester. It doesn’t happen every day and sometimes I have days where I don’t even get them. But when I do get them, they are only a few seconds long… But it still freaks me out! My heart Will go boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! And then go back to it’s normal beat. One time it did it so fast that I swear I felt my chest shake😂 I was laying down that time. Other times I could just be sitting down at work, driving or on the toilet lol. It doesn’t happen tons but still. I even got so scared this week bc it did it a couple of times “after being gone for days” .. that I went and got a ekg done smh. They said my oxygen, pulse, blood pressure and ekg results were all normal. I went to urgent care because this was during my lunch break and although she said everything looked normal, she still said that they didn’t catch the palpitation on the EKG so she still is going to refer me to a cardiologist. I was told by multiple people.. not to worry about her referring bc apparently, if you go to the emergency room and places like urgent care, they automatically do things like that because they want to cover their tails just in case something is really wrong. When this all first started happening, I told my OB/GYN, and she said that this was a normal symptom during pregnancy.. due to the higher blood volume and my heart working harder. But Lord, it really makes you feel like you’re about to die when your heart normally doesn’t race that fast.. and then randomly it does. Please tell me ya’lls experiences with this! I would love to hear them to ease my mind. Even tho my OBGYN said it was normal and my ekg was good . *I’m just a schizophrenic!* 😂
