Hi everyone, I'm sure this question has been asked over and over again. I have looked at and read the previous posts and still I'm extremely anxious about my ultrasound. I am 41 and currently 10 weeks 3 days and yesterday the doctor let me know that due to extra fluid behind the baby's neck, I should go get it checked out next week. I asked him what that meant and he sort of said it could be nothing or it could mean the baby has a birth defect or down syndrome. Told my husband and he was upset and crying, while I was just shocked. After searching up clearer answers, I am now not trying to jump to conclusions but super worried and scared. This is my second baby, I have a 7 year old and I'm just hoping for the best. 🙏
