Anyone know what this is?

I’m 2 months 2 weeks pp and I’ve been cramping really bad and had this come out with some blood tonight? I’m exclusively breastfeeding so I’m not sure why I’m even getting a “period”. I’m also on the depo shot and when using it before this pregnancy I never got periods with it. It was like some kind of pure white tissue when the blood was removed.

I'm not familiar with the depo shot as birth control. I googled it and planned Parenthood says that many people don't get a period on the shot but some do. Maybe your body is just reacting to it differently this time around? It's likely something you'd have to talk to the doctor about. But birth control aside, breastfeeding itself doesn't guarantee your period won't return. Every body is different. Some people don't get a period until they wean. Others, like myself, get it back right away even while ebf. Mine came back at 7 weeks pp. I normally get heavy periods with clots but I've never had it look like that before. It doesn't appear to be concerning but if this isn't normal for you I would reach out to the doctor. Always better to be on the safe side
