My husband is just...not handy. He takes fucking forever to do literally ANYTHING AT ALL around the house. Today we were trying to just hang some shelves and a new curtain rod, and I'm trying to be patient and assist him, but I've hung shelving and curtain rods before, and I'm noticing this is taking like 4 hours already. 2 small wooden shelves and one curtain rod...super agitating. I've done a lot of our DIY stuff around the house myself, and I'm pregnant right now so I've had to slow down a bit and ask for help. The shelves and curtain rod are for the nursery.

I get frustrated with his obvious slow take on things especially when I know I could knock it out in like half the time. I'm very much like "let's rock this out" when it comes to projects. Long story short, I got super pissed and told him to stop acting like a bitch and just finish the shit already-and now we're not talking to one another. I may have told him stfu as well...I feel moderately bad-but being pregnant 3x in 2 years has not done any wonders for my mood/patience/ability to be kind. These mood swings are no fun, and I hate that I was so mean, but also I just wanted to finish those small things today and relax (so I'm still mad).

My husband may be too sensitive as well, and I don't really know how to handle that because I'm really blunt (and to be honest, kind of an asshole). This shouldn't be news to him as we've been together since 2017.

I dunno. Maybe I don't get a mulligan being pregnant.
