How much are spending every month?

What’s your avg monthly expenses not including house payment or car payments? We are a family of 4. Me, my husband, our two year old and a 3 month old . We put everything on our credit card and each month is like 5-6k and that DOES NOT include  our mortgage, daycare or two car payments. With mtg , daycare for one kid and two car payments were looking at 9-10k a month. I feel like that’s a lot ??

Are you all making as much as or more than 9-10K a month to afford this lifestyle? I honestly don't know anyone in my circle who's monthly expenses on total with mortgage is more than $3,500 a month. 
I think if you have to put your entire expenses on credit card and can't pay it outright you're living way above your means unless you're able to pay off your credit card immediately and are just doing it this way to build credit.

Our highest month is 3.5K. And that is with us fixing up the house and getting baby stuff for our fourth child. And a ton of eating out. Definitely go through the actual purchase you made to see what was a want vs a need. It’s easy to get lifestyle creep. Try using an app like Mint so you can categorize and know when you are overspending in a fun category.

Currently me and my bf live with my grandparents as we are trying to financially get stable so we do not pay rent and we do not have a car so no car payments however we do buy all of our own food and cooking supplies so we spend roughly 4-6 hundred on groceries per month and go shopping every two weeks I’d say

Without houses/cars for us maybe 2000-3000 a month max usually less though. We throw a few big parties every year that we spend more those months but for just me and my husband for like food, utilities and all that around there.

My husband and I grew up broke so we’re used to penny pinching even now that we don’t need to. We spend about 3.5k on everything (rent, car, insurances, gas, groceries, baby things, eating out, etc.) I’m a SAHM so he’s the only one bringing in income and we usually have 350-600 left over each paycheck

Wow/ you are super wealthy! We are classed as being 'wealthy' in England with take home combine pay of 6k a month. Mortgage is 1.3, bills are around 2k (including home improvement loan) car/petrol around 300-400- husband drives 100 miles a day. So we have around £300 a week for everything else - which was know how damn lucky we are. Even still, we live modestly
