What's everyone's sleep routine with their twins?
I have boy/girl twins about to turn 6 months in about a week. My girl twin can somewhat fall asleep on her own but likes mommy around, my boy won't sleep without me period! I've never had twins and I struggled in the beginning making sure to give both equally the same amount of attention but now that they're older it seems they demand and fight/cry for my attention more! I'm not a single parent, they're father and I live together with the babies... He spent many months outside working on mechanics and other things in the garage, they got used to basically having mommy around for naps/bedtime... Now my boyfriend says it's my fault they're both attached and won't sleep without me around... Rocking them etc.. he wanted me to separate the babies and attend to each separately, hence leave one crying it out vs running to them when they'd cry.. I've never believed in that method with my prior 4 children but this time I had twins and it's getting so difficult to attend to both equally without one baby acting up feeling ignored... How does everyone else handle nap times/bed time with their multiples? It hurts hearing them cry and I have a hard time with letting them cry it out so I usually have to grab them both to calm/soothe them... What do you all think? Cry it out method or is this a phase or is this how's it's always going to be even as they get older? Help!!
