How do you know you didn’t ovulate?

I had a surge but failed to ovulate this cycle. First time it’s happened since tracking. I had another anovulatory cycle but never got a peak opk that time.

Are you talking about after you already ovulated? Some women surge again right before their period. Or do you mean you surge but not actually ever ovulate? That’s more common with PCOS or other medical problems.

I wouldn’t say it’s common, but it can happen.
