I got a second opinion on my pain and lack of healing postpartum and found out I need to have a perineal revision. Apparently there was constant tension on my second degree tear stitches and the sides couldn’t reach back together to heal in a small area. I’m frustrated and in pain and I can’t wait to just get it scheduled but I’m also super anxious. All of this to say if you feel something isn’t right, don’t give up on it and find answers. And also to see if anyone else has gone through something similar?
