I think it’s a bit extreme to go to that measure if it’s just a dating relationship. May be a bit of toxicity on the other side.  But also I don’t know your side.  
However, if you didn’t do anything. And know to be honest then I guess go for it.  They aren’t entirely accurate though.  If it came to protecting my kids I’d do it.
