I’m currently 39 weeks and had my cervical check today. I’m 80 percent effaced and 3cm dilated. The doctor was shocked and said I can go into labor any day. But I have no signs of labor. Baby feels super low and I get mild contractions here or there but nothing that feel painful. This is my second pregnancy. With my first I went in and I was 3cm and they admitted me. Is it normal not to have contractions and be dilated? Should I expect labor soon?
