Frustrated because he won’t listen
My toddler turned two a month ago. She has showed signs of being ready for potty training. She’s very switch on and you can explain things to her and she will understand.
My fiancé and I have been trying to teach her to ask for the potty. She often asks while she’s going but the point is that she feels when she’s going.
I try rush her to the potty when she says “wee wee” or points to the potty. She can’t undo her nappy on her own. I’m ALWAYS the one who sits with her at the potty.
This afternoon she kept asking my fiancé for the potty. And he’s say “do you need the potty” but never actually took her there. She was only wearing a nappy so it’s not like it was that hard. She asked three times and he didn’t take her until I told him to.
I guess I’m mainly venting here but it makes it so hard since he’s the stay at home parent. I guess the parents need to be trained more than the toddler.
