I started with Similac and was causing my baby reflux and bad tummy issues. Switched to AR as per my doctor and would make him super constipated I decided to try emfamil gentlease and that was the only one to work for him. Every baby is different so make sure whatever changes you make you ask your pedi.

AR stands for added rice. Our pediatrician also told us to buy the regular formula and blend up rice cereal really fine and add it to the regular formula in a 2:1 ratio. So 2 parts formula: 1 part pulverized rice cereal. Please check with your pediatrician before doing this though just in case.
