Can you be ovulating without getting a positive opk?

I messed up the first question. I have clear stretchy cm and I've been having ovulation cramps but I'm not close to ovulating yet

That type of CM is brought on by a rise in Estrogen, which precedes a surge in LH, which triggers ovulation. You can experience EWCM many days prior to, during and even after ovulation. OPK’s aren’t 100% reliable, so it’s possible to not have a positive OPK and ovulate-in this case, you’ve missed your LH surge.
