Anyone else measuring a week early?

Question

I was told at my last OB appointment that baby & my belly are measuring a week early. He didn’t mention a sooner due date and at the time I didn’t even think to ask. I was 31 weeks at this appointment and we set up an appointment for 2 weeks later. He even said “see you at 34 weeks” 🤔
Has anyone else been told this? What do I expect?

I’ve been measuring a week ahead since my anatomy scan at 20 weeks. I’ll be interested to see if I do happen to go early/if he’s a big baby!

Yep I’ve been consistently measuring a week ahead, and they did a growth scan confirming baby is on the larger side in the 94th percentile but knowing all of this hasn’t changed anything except confirm that I don’t want to try for a VBAC. But my personal situation is unique to me because my first baby’s birth ended with shoulder dystocia (baby’s head was out but his shoulder was stuck under my pubic bone).  It quickly turned into an emergency situation so I chose c-section for my 2nd baby to avoid that risk altogether.  Opting for a repeat C this time with my 3rd. 
Having a bigger baby is not necessarily an indicator for risk of shoulder dystocia. Plenty of women give birth to big babies without issue. It more has to do with my personal anatomy/bone structure and having bigger babies. Although birthing position can be a factor. 
Anywaaaaay. I wrote way more than I was intending to here. Bottom line is that you can measure ahead without it meaning much at all. Unless your baby is measuring WAY off, your doctor probably won’t change course of action unless you have other unique factors that need to be considered.  It also doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll go into labor early either 😕

Unless your doctor is one who likes to try to induce for “Big baby,” or use that as a reason to induce for their own convenience 🙄, they aren’t going to really bat an eye at fundal height measurement unless it is off by A LOT. In my last pregnancy and current one (32 weeks), I’ve measured 3-4 inches larger than I’m supposed to. I’m very petite with a small torso, so my belly just goes straight out. Despite measuring “big” on fundal height, my first was born almost a week overdue and just 7 lbs 4oz. They will not change your due date based on this measurement. If they are concerned, they’ll order a “growth scan” and try to make a guess on the baby’s size which is also not accurate. If you have GD they are more likely to act, also.

Mine are always about a week ahead or more. I like ice cream and my babies are big. Doesn’t really change the development and readiness of their lungs, etc.

I have big babies. Currently measuring 39 weeks at 35 weeks - had to have a growth scan to confirm this and yup baby is that big I also have too much fluid and they've given me no indication what that will mean in terms of delivery options
