If you want it get up and pay for it

My husband and I have 30,000 saved. Doesn’t get touched. We have the car the house etc. we’re well off. I’m sahm work spring summer and fall on weekends. Well he bought himself a 2,000 jacket. I didn’t say anything about it even went with him to pick it out. I NEVER get myself expensive things. Ever. None of my clothes cost over 50$! A single item. My shoes I get at Ross. Point being I never spend 100 on a single item. He gifted me a 900$ wallet he says he gifted because it was our daughters tax return but because he said he’s the only one who works it’s his tax return. So he “gifted” me this wallet. I am grateful. So back to the point I NEVER buy myself expensive things. I got into some very bad accident and got 9000$. I just wanted to buy one purse. To go with my wallet. Same brand 2000$ as well. I saw it’s our money even though it’s from my settlement. He gets pissed off starts yelling you do nothing get a job as a telemarketer while caring for the baby you don’t do anything etc. dogging me basically. Slamming doors. Even though I do everything besides work daily. He made me feel horrible. He said want nice things like me, work like me. Ohh wait you can’t…. I wanted to start crying. He spends 550$ a month on weed and liquor. Plus 100-200$ a week on stuff he wants. Not to mention he has expensive designer clothes and shoes, a bunch. I don’t mind but for me ? No way in hell? Why is it a problem I wants purse? Am I not deserving because I don’t make money?

Replying to Ashley: he bought me the wallet 6 years ago when we had nothing saved up. It was mainly because he was buying himself expensive stuff but i never got anything. This would be my second expensive purchase in over 6 years.

— Edit again he bought it with our tax money 6 years ago when we were broke no car or anything. Now we have everything with no payments! It’s so not like he did it this year. But thank you all for your responses. Seems like I know what to do now….
