Are twin pregnancies a lot harder?

Someone I spoke to yesterday is 32 weeks pregnant with girl twins and she said it's a breeze!! No sickness no issues just growing pains. I thought and assumed it would overal be more difficult. She said her first and second babies were more difficult!

My singleton pregnancy made me want to be pregnant over and over. My twin pregnancy was from hell and I had absolutely no complications but I was so sick the entire first trimester and I was so huge that I was miserable my last trimester!

For me it was, I had 4 singletons and now with my 5th and last pregnancy with my Di/Di Boy 💙 Girl 💗 Twins, it was by far my most difficult. There were some complications, COVID at 20 weeks, needed the antibody infusion at the hospital, gestational diabetes requiring 2 types of insulin for my last 2 months of pregnancy, hospitalized for early contractions at about 35 weeks due to dehydration, they needed to stop my labor, I was contracting... Also they scheduled me for delivery at 38 weeks but because 1 baby wasn't looking too good on ultrasound I needed to deliver at 37 weeks exactly, left the OB at my appointment and straight to the hospital for admission, within 4 hours I delivered the babies via emergency c- section.  I know everyone's pregnancies and experiences will be different but that was mine.. I was older at 37 with my twins and that could have been why it was also harder on my body to carry two babies, it was physically challenging for me at times but I do suffer from various physical health issues which might have made it more difficult pain wise.

My twin pregnancy has been my easiest by far, no sickness, no symptoms other than ligament/growing pains. I’m 29w 3d now and certainly uncomfortable, but still hanging in there.

Every pregnant is different. I had boy/girl twins for my second pregnancy and it was not a breeze 😅. Until about the 15th week I had really bad morning sickness. I remember losing 8lbs in one week. Hospitalized twice (23wks , first time) then being kept from 30-33wks, when I finally gave birth.

I found my singleton pregnancy was way harder than twin....i had no nausea or anything...i found the hardest part for me was the last 2 weeks (weeks 35 and 36) ... i was very uncomfortable and itchy

For me yes. I had 2 singletons first and those pregnancies were a piece of cake. When I was pregnant with my twins it was much harder and I had horrible morning sickness.
