Braxton hicks or real contractions?

For the past 3 days I’ve had contractions but I can reel if they are Braxton hicks or labor.
My middle abdomen feels tightening. No severe cramping as if I were dilating. But they are like every 2-3 minutes and last for like 30 seconds. Is this normal? No pain just super uncomfortable.

I had Braxton hicks like that. They stopped before bed, and I woke up at 3am the next morning with proper contractions.

Sounds like Braxton Hicks. The real contractions will feel like period cramps and will increase in pain the further along you go. Braxton tightens and makes your belly hard.

Generally if it’s painless it’s not labour. But you never know so just monitor in case if you have a bloody show or your waters break x

Once it's true labor the contractions will move down low and will no longer be focused in your torso
