Should sleep be the same on non work days
I’ve been back to work for a little over a month now. Our baby is now 12 months old. Her dad stays home with her and “babysits” (as he puts it), and I work for 4 hours. Our daughter does not take naps while I’m away because she still nurses to sleep and her dad can’t get her to sleep. (He stopped trying after about a week). So she used to be awake for 2 or three hours then nap. Now she is awake from 7:00 or 7:15 ish until about 11:30 when I get home (falls asleep by 11:45). Anyway, on the weekends when I’m home , I see she gets tired around 9:30 or 10 but hubby demands that we keep her awake to follow the same routine. So we do because it might be easier. I want to put her to sleep when she’s tired but instead we do the same time frame. I don’t know which would be better for her. She gets cranky after 10. Keep the routine? Or change it on the weekends?
