App says 3 days until ovulation. We're trying the Shettles method to try and have a girl (i know.... Just let me have my fun haha) and are supposed to stop having sex 3-4 days before ovulation. Do we vote this looks like ovulation in a few days?

No that is still not close to ovulation. It will be same darkness with the control line to shot a surge and then darker than control line when ovulating before it starts to fade again. Good luck with your gender sway pink baby dust to you 💕

Shettles method, if anyone is curious, is based on the scientific fact that X sperm live longer than Y sperm and travel slower. Basically you have lots of sex up to 3 or 4 days before your ovulation.... And then in theory the only sperm left alive by the time you ovulate are the slower X that have now had time to make it up the tubes to meet the eggo. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don't care either way but since we just had a boy we thought hey why not try a lil pseudoscience to spice things up.

Still pretty negative! Probably have more than a few days to go. You may have to track for a couple months before trying the method that way you can have an general idea of when you ovulate and know when to stop having sex!

Well this is one day after the previous test haha. I'd say it's safe to say ovulation in a day or two.
