I’m 40+2 today. I’ve been having contractions in the evenings since Friday, about every 10 minutes for 3-4 hours, and then they go away overnight. They’ve been really manageable and it feels like a wave, I can feel it building and then gradually decreases again.

But today I’ve been having contractions that seem to start out of nowhere, no warning, super intense, and taking my breath away. And then they gradually decrease again and I can move on. Has anyone experienced this? The discomfort is still manageable, it’s just really difficult to regulate my breathing when I feel like I’m getting slammed in the pelvis out of nowhere every 8-10 minutes 😂

This is my second baby and I definitely do not remember having contractions like this last time.
