Just wanting some advice and possibly some first hand experience stories. My son is tongue tied and I’m not sure if I want to get it fixed.

It’s not super severe and he is gaining weight well but the health visitor told me to consider it as he is feeding very frequently and often falling asleep in my boob because of working so hard. He also gets bad reflux.

She said due to his weight being ok she wouldn’t say I have to get it fixed but she said he will feed easier and I’ll get more sleep.

I don’t want to cause him pain just to benefit me but if it will help him then maybe i should…? Is the procedure that bad?
