C-section scheduled for next week
So I got my official date for my c-section and it looks like baby #2 will be here in less than a week.
I had a vaginal birth with my first but with this pregnancy, my placenta is too close to my cervix for a safe vaginal delivery. I'm a bit upset that my plan for a homebirth won't happen but just trying to stay positive and understand that as long baby and I are healthy, that's all that matters.
I'm nervous and I don't really know what to expect, I've had many surgeries before but not a c-section.
Any tips, advice, words of encouragement?
I've heard a planned c-section is a much more pleasant experience than an emergency and typically recovery is better. I'm praying all goes well 🙏
