I have a friend who even though they pick up and put down our relationship like a toy I can't seem to let them go. I am used to people walking away and leaving me so when people become distant I am good at guarding my heart and surviving it. However, with this friend I can't let them go no matter how many times they pull away and come back. Each time they come back I say no I will not fall for it but each time it feels so nice just to be back in their presence that I do. It just keeps breaking my heart over and over but out of all the people I have had to let go this one I can't seem to say goodbye to. Why can I not let go?
